Dan Zlotnick enters his first year as a member of 21CS’ core Training Team. Dan was a three-time Section 1 Champion (2007, 2008, 2009) with Somers High School as a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, winning the MVP Award for the championship game in 2008 and 2009. He went on to play at Division-I Marist College where he continued to pitch and play the outfield. After his junior year, Dan transferred to the University of Tampa where he won a Division-II National Championship and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Dan signed with the Trinidad Triggers of the Pecos Independent Baseball League at the end of 2013 and played in the same league for all of 2014.Read More In 2015, Dan signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the independent Intercounty Baseball League in Ontario, Canada, and he made the All-Star team as a relief pitcher. Dan currently serves as a volunteer assistant coach for the Somers Tuskers, working primarily with the pitchers. He is also pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter and guitarist, often performing locally and in New York City.
