8:45-9:00 a.m.:  Campers arrive, participate in warmup activity of the day

9:00:  Hydrate, Gather in Morning Groups/Lines

9:10:  College/Pro-Style Dynamic Warm Up

9:20:  A.M. Announcements & Attendance; Trivia Question of the Day

 

RE-HYDRATE, TRANSITION TO SKILL STATIONS, ROUND #1

9:30-10:30:  SKILL STATIONS, ROUND #1

10:35-10:45:  “WORLD-FAMOUS” POPSICLE BREAAAAAAAAK!!!! 🙂  

 

10:50-11:50:  SKILL STATIONS, ROUND #2*

*Skill Stations vary day to day and, more importantly, from 1 week to the next (i.e. this is especially important for 2-week camps) in order to maintain optimal camper engagement & excitement!

 

 

 

HALFTIME!  TRANSITION TO LUNCH

11:55-12:40:  LUNCH (At this time, half-day campers will be released, see below)**

12:50-1:15:  “SPOTLIGHT” SKILL OF THE DAY!  Tips for Power Hitting, Power Pitching & “Skill Infielding”!

 

*TRANSITION TO GAMES

1:20-1:50:  Sandlot Games, a.k.a. No-Glove Games! Learning Outcomes Include:

-Improved swing path (due to lighter bat)

-Development of on-field “IQ”, due to smaller teams (i.e. moving to cover bases, back up plays/overthrows, etc.)

-Extra Fun-Fun-Fun!

1:55-2:35:  GAME UP, Regulation Rules – EVERY SINGLE DAY!  

*TIP – GAMES ARE WHY KIDS COME TO BASEBALL CAMP – JUST ASK THEM  😉
