Rich Moran enters his 8th year as a member of the 21CS Training Team.  Moran served as the Varsity Pitching Coach at John F. Kennedy Catholic in Somers, N.Y. for two seasons, including in 2008, when the Gaels earned their first-ever N.Y.S. Baseball Championship. 

Before coaching at Kennedy Catholic, Moran played for Long Island University, where he was a four-year conference starter for the Blackbirds. During his sophomore season at L.I.U. he was voted the team’s Most Valuable Pitcher while ranking fourth in the Northeast Conference with a 2.21 E.R.A. During his college playing days Moran also competed in the prestigious and M.L.B.-sanctioned Coast Plains Summer League in North Carolina for the Wilson Tobs in Wilson, N.C. Currently, Moran is a Physical Education teacher for the New York City Department of Education and has been working baseball camps and clinics for the past 10 years throughout Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties.  In 2015, he helped lead the Tuckahoe Tigers to the Section 1 (Westchester, Putnam & Rockland counties) and N.Y.S. Elite Eight.
